How it runs/02

Four steps, in order.

01
Request

A reorder level, a production plan, or a person raises a material request. Projected quantity decides the size of it, not the figure on the shelf.

02
Receive

Goods land against the order with accepted and rejected split, inspection where it is required, batch or serial captured, and landed cost applied to valuation.

03
Hold and move

Stock sits in a warehouse and dimension you can report on. Transfers, repacks, and reservations are documents; the bin numbers move with them.

04
Issue and prove

Picked, packed, and delivered, with cost of goods sold posted at the valuation method you set — and a reconciliation that shows the counted figure against it.
